Well, what to say…
I’m Sean, I’m 28, Live in Wallasey, Im married to my husband Alex!
When I get the chance I tend to do any hobbie stuff its normally loads of geeky things, I’m a hands on technically minded person, I love working with computer hardware, Electronics, Anything Electrical, and just all Technology.
Computers:– I have always been into computers in a big way, I started off using an Acorn Electron from a very young age, and over the years, have gone through many different systems, For many years i used Amiga systems, I have two Amiga A500′s, a A600 and a A1200, and used them for mostly gaming, although did use some for Music Creation, Graphics, and Video Editing. I have had since gone PC all the way, Starting off with a couple of old 8088/8086 IBM’s but never really did alot with them other than programme a little basic. I really started getting into PC’s when i got my i386 and eventully started using Windows 3.1, i didnt really do alot with either and quickly upgraded year by year, going through i486, i586 Machines, a few AMD’s, I escaped from AMD quickly as i dont see much need in them, Yeah people think they are good gaming machines when overclocked, But hey, Buy an intel and you dont need to overclock, and you dont need so much cooling. I settled on my Pentium 2 and Pentium 3 for many year. It never let me down. These days, I run a nice Intel Core2 Quad, 8Gb Ram, 4Terabtye HDD Space and GeForce FX-285 1GB
I am currently working on a big project, and that is:- I’m building a Full Colour Laser Projector, This is on hold at the moment as i have not had much time to do alot with it although i plan to make a start on it again in coming months.
I also play Bass Guitar, I am self tought and only play by ear or tabs, I mostly play Red Hot Chili Peppers & Pink Floyd. And that brings me to the music…
I adore music, I mostly love Drum’n'Bass, PsyTrance, Electro, Techno, Dub, Reggae and of course Rock!!! I don’t really like any of the stuff that hits the charts, can’t stand R’n'B, Pop, or anything cheesy, shitty and overly manufactured. I feel music comes from the heart, And i don’t think enough people these days understand that. My 2 favorite bands are; Pink Floyd & The Red Hot Chili Peppers, And some other artists i like are; Pendulum, Chase & Status, High Contrast, Rage Against The Machine, Metallica, R.E.M, also DJ’s; Tiesto, 2ManyDJ’s, Andy C, Soulwax and sash.
Time for TV:– Me and alex recently brought a new TV, 42″ LG 1080P Screen, I mostly love to watch the Geeky show, Star Trek, Stargate, CSI:, but also love all the Animated Comedys, Simpsons, Family Guy etc, Also i really like, Chuck, Supernatural, My Name Is Earl, Smallville and X-Files. But with it being a HDTV, I love all my 1080P Movies also…
